Meet the team
John Connaire |
John founded COGG Construction in 2018 with the intention of creating a company that clients want to work with repeatedly. His drive, practical knowledge and attention to detail has ensured that this goal was achieved.
John’s responsibilities include the day-to-day operations of COGG Construction, including direct oversight of all projects, staff, subcontractors, suppliers, plant and material. He has a strong presence on all our sites and closely monitors all works to make sure they are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest possible standard. Having worked in the industry for over 20 years in the UK, USA and Australia, John brings a wealth of technical experience. He is always striving for the best possible outcome and has been the driving force behind several sustainability initiatives currently being implemented by COGG Construction. |
William Neary |
William joined COGG Construction in 2019 and brings 18 years industry experience in utilities, road, rail, commercial and residential developments. He has managed works at design consultancies, contractors, developers and government bodies in Australia the UK, Ireland, UAE and mainland Europe. William manages the commercial and business development division of the business along with providing additional engineering support to the project teams when required. William holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Civil Engineering and Construction, a Masters of Law, Construction Law and Practice. |

Jessica has been with COGG Construction since its inception; joining us on a permanent basis is 2024. Coming from a project management and operations background, Jess is solution-focused and dedicated to ensuring the business operates effectively and efficiently.

George Wood |
George moved to Australia in 2016 as a qualified carpenter and became an original member of the COGG Construction team in 2018. Despite being new to this sector of the industry, he rapidly progressed to the role of Senior Supervisor through his expertise, dedication, and strong work ethic. With a combination of hands-on experience, technical knowledge, resilience and a commitment to excellence, George ensures that every project meets the highest standards. His focus on workplace safety and client satisfaction reflects his leadership and commitment to delivering exceptional results. |
